Multiple Merit Badge Opportunities

Posted on Mar 23 2024 - 2:02pm

Since we can't have a Merit Badge University at this time, we'd like to encourage our Scouts to work on some merit badges that they can complete on their own and then go over with a merit badge counselor.  We've listed some that can be done, but you can choose others if you see something that interests you and you have the means to do the work.  Not all of the merit badges listed will be applicable to everyone, but you should be able to find something you'd like to work on.

Trout O Ree - Three District Camporee - April 5-7

The Trout O Ree multi district camporee will be held April 5-7.   Fee for the campout is $50 which includes meals and registration fees.  Permission slip was sent out by email.  All Scouts attending must turn in a signed permission slip.  Please sign up on the Troop calendar before April 1st so that we can submit our Troop registration before the deadline.  We will be closing the calendar event the evening of April 1st.

Volunteer Opportunity: Fish Fry Set Up, Serving, and Clean Up - March 22

Posted on Mar 17 2024 - 9:53pm

The Knights of Columbus have asked Troop 7369 to help with the last Lenten Meal Fish Fry of the season. We've been asked to help setup, help with serving, and help clean up.  Set up starts at 5pm and clean up should be done not later than 9pm.

Important for New Scouts

Posted on Mar 10 2024 - 10:26pm

We need your help: The majority of new scouts/parents have not yet completed the youth protection requirement for Scout rank.  If you haven't, please complete it prior to the start of Thursday's meeting. Please review ASM Feldman's email for further details.   Everything else has been completed for Scout rank and we would like to be able to present the Scout rank to all 10 of our new Scouts on Thursday, but the youth protection requirement must be completed for that to happen.   A couple new Scouts have already provided ASM Feldman with confirmation of completion so far - thank you!

Volunteer Opportunity - Jimmy Moore Eagle Project - March 16

Posted on Mar 10 2024 - 10:15pm

Jimmy's project is to build and install a 10x10-foot square tree bench for Greenbriar West Elementary. The build will take place at Mr. Meade's house and then transported to Greenbriar West Elementary for installation. For my project, I will need at least 20 scouts, more are welcome. Lunch, snacks, and drinks will be provided. Scouts should wear appropriate clothing for woodworking and the weather. Bringing work gloves is encouraged; there will be some available to borrow. The scouts that sign up should indicate if they will stay the whole day, arrive late, and/or have to leave early.
